I first discovered Warren “Hanna” Harris when I was looking to buy a synthesizer. At the time, I had my heart set on the Roland SH-201, and in my pursuit of it, I stumbled across a demo video, filmed at Sam Ash Music, and presented by Hanna. I ended up plumping for a MicroKORG in the end, but that didn’t stop me appreciating Hanna’s unique style, which carries through into his music and production work.

There is also this two-part demo of the MV-8800 (Hanna’s a Roland specialist). Yes, I’m Asian, and I like synthesizers. That’s why my friends call my ‘Synth‘.
